Today, January 6, 2026, the body of Nicholas Collins was found in Newton County, Arkansas. Nicholas had been missing since December 19th, 2025, and his car was discovered on January 1, 2026, in the Ozark National Forest in Johnson County.
At this time, there is no indication of foul play. The investigation remains active, and additional information will be shared as it becomes available. The Newton County Sheriff’s Office in Arkansas has taken over the investigation.
This is a very difficult time for Nicholas’s family, and we ask everyone to respect their privacy as they grieve.
We thank all the agencies and volunteers for their part in the search, including local teams in Arkansas, federal law enforcement, and our staff in Tama County.
