Many have received a text message from the “Iowa Department of Vehicles” stating that there is an unpaid, outstanding traffic ticket.
THIS IS A SCAM! DO NOT PAY OR GO TO THE WEBSITE LISTED IN TEXT MESSAGE!
Sheriff Schmidt just received the scam text that has been circulating!
