New Mobile Radar Unit

April 10, 2023

Thanks to the Iowa Governor's Traffic Safety Bureau, the Tama County Sheriff's Office was able to purchase a mobile radar unit! The unit can be placed almost anywhere and specializes in reminding folks to watch their speeds in various speed zones.

Our goal is to place this new unit throughout Tama County. Please contact us if you know of locations in the county that would benefit from the mobile radar unit.
